If you are serious about learning piano or flute, then this is the right place for you!
Toronto Music Academy of Canada was founded in 2000 by pianists Yun He Lee and John Shillingberg. They also formed the Lee-Shillingberg Piano Duo in 1994, giving various concerts in Korea, U.S.A. and Canada.
Presently, we are a small piano music studio in North York that focuses on students who wish to learn piano of all ages and backgrounds, and since we are the owners and piano teachers of the studio, you don't have to worry about contract teachers who usually come and go at many music schools, so you can expect to have lessons that are consistent and uninterupted. We also provide flute lessons as well.
Even though we strictly teach baroque, classical, romantic and modern styles, we do so in a conservatory like experience.
Not only are lessons taught, but music
theory is an integral part of the lesson as well.
We would like to set-up a program plan for you that meets your needs with extra individual care. Most of our students have been studying with us for many years and some of them have even gone on to studying at major music conservatories in the U.S.A., Canada and Europe.
The following lessons and courses are offered for Private teaching (one on one, not group).
Piano Lessons
Flute Lessons
Basic/Intermediate/Advanced Music Theory Lessons
School Recitals— These are given annually. All students are highly encouraged to attend.
